Disclaimer of accuracy with regards to self-defence laws:

Participants in any of the MINDSET Self-Defence & Close Quarters Combat (legal entity Charles Michael Riley t/a MINDSET CQC) organised classes, courses, or workshops are accountable under the exact wording and current interpretations of all applicable laws and regulations when they apply self-defence or close quarters combat techniques in any circumstance. Legal Disclaimer:

Self-defence and CQC (close quarters combat); the practise and application of techniques detailed in a MINDSET Self-Defence & Close Quarters Combat organised class, course, or workshop, are inherently dangerous. The techniques shown may cause significant and unintended injuries if applied or practised incorrectly or carelessly.

While practising self-defence or CQC techniques, you agree to be careful as to avoid strong pressure and damage to sensitive areas, including but not limited to the eyes, throat, face, groin, and pressure-point areas.

There can be no guarantee that a self-defence technique will, when applied in any given situation, be effective, and we strongly urge that if running away is an option, you should run rather than attempt to use a self-defence technique, especially where weapons are involved.

You agree, on behalf of yourself, your heirs, personal representatives, successors, and assigns: ·

To assume all risks regarding the information presented at any MINDSET Self-Defence & Close Quarters Combat organised class, course, or workshop, including but not limited to all risks, whether or not specifically mentioned, of practising, applying, using, and/or attempting to use the techniques shown.

To waive, release, and discharge any and all claims of damages for death, personal injury, or property damage that you may have or may have in the future as a result of attending any MINDSET Self-Defence & Close Quarters Combat organised class, course, or workshop and/or practising, applying, using, and/or trying to use the techniques shown.

To indemnify and hold harmless the chief instructor and official branch instructors or anyone associated with the MINDSET Self-Defence & Close Quarters Combat organised classes, courses or workshops, against all claims, losses, damages and expenses, including but not limited to solicitors/lawyers, doctors & hospital fees and costs, whether asserted by the participant or anyone else, resulting from (i) any breach or repudiation of this Agreement and Release of Liability; or (ii) any loss or injury to person or property, arising from or associated with your practice, application, use and/or attempted use of the techniques detailed at any official MINDSET Self-Defence & Close Quarters Combat organised class, course or workshop.

MINDSET Self-Defence & Close Quarters Combat reserves the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule a class, course, or workshop at any time without notice.
